Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any Lagoon Technologies product or service (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
2. Services Description
Lagoon Technologies provides cloud-based enterprise software including Opex HR Payroll System, Corex ERP Solutions, TimeTick Attendance Management, and Safex365 QHSE System (“Products”). We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service with reasonable notice to subscribers.
3. User Accounts & Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at support@lagoontechnologies.com.
4. Subscription and Payment
Services are billed on a subscription basis (monthly or annual). Fees are payable in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in our refund policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ written notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Data Privacy & Security
Lagoon Technologies processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws including the Information Technology (Amendment) Act 2008 (India) and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Data is hosted on AWS infrastructure. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Services, including software, databases, documentation, and trademarks, belong to Lagoon Technologies Private Limited. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services during the subscription period. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose, to transmit malware, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or to interfere with other users’ use of the Services. You are responsible for all content uploaded to the Services and for ensuring that your use complies with applicable laws.
8. Uptime and Service Level Agreement
We commit to 99.9%% monthly uptime for all Production environments. Scheduled maintenance is performed during off-peak hours with advance notice. In the event of an SLA breach, customers may receive service credits as defined in their subscription agreement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lagoon Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription at the end of the billing period with written notice. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After 30 days, data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu, India. For UAE customers, disputes may be referred to the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC).
